Mrs. Gloria - 4s Teacher and Director
Gloria graduated from Western Michigan University with an Elementary and Early Childhood education degree.
She taught Headstart and Kindergarten Enrichment for three years within the Farmington Public School System.
Gloria took a few years off from teaching to stay at home with her two daughters. Gloria used to teach the 2's
class and 3's class but this year she is the director of our preschool and is also in charge of the 4's class.
Mrs. Kelley - 3s Teacher
Kelley majored in French and
Business at the College of Wooster
in Wooster, Ohio. After working for
several years as a special events
planner, she decided to pursue a new
career in teaching. She is
completing her M.A. in teaching at
Wayne State University and has
been leading the 3s program at FCP since 2005. "I absolutely love to
be around children and watch them learn and grow. I am very excited to
have the opportunity to be involved in your child's pre-school experience!"
Mrs. Denise - 2s Teacher
Denise has been a part of FCP Preschool for a number of years. First as a parent
with her two children and for three years as a teacher aide in the MWF 3's class.
Denise graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor's in Audiology and
Speech Sciences. After school she volunteered her time at Michigan School for the Deaf
for a short time before becoming a stay at home mom. She is excited about teaching the 2's
program for the first time in the 2011-2012 school year which she took over from Mrs. Gloria.
Mrs. Diane - 4s Aide Teacher
Diane graduated from the Center for Creative Studies with a Bachelor of Fine Arts
degree. She has spent several years volunteering as a Sunday School teacher and
also volunteered at Wing Lake Developmental Center. "I am thrilled to be part of
Franklin Community Preschool's educational and nurturing environment."
Mrs. Anne Marie - 4s Aide Teacher and Mom's Morning Out Teacher
Anne Marie graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in English Education. She has often worked
in the pre-school setting while subbing in Wisconsin, mainly 4 year old kindergarten. She also worked in a daycare setting
when her boys were young, before taking time off to be a stay at home mom. "I love working with pre-school kids
and I am excited to be a part of Franklin Community Preschool!"
